As is usually the case with most educational institutions, the office of Victoria Institution (College) is also primarily divided into two sections, the Students' Section and the Accounts Section. The Students' Section undertakes to maintain the link between the students and the University of Calcutta. This section notifies the students regarding the admission rules, university examinations, publication of results and related matters. The Accounts section on the other hand looks after collection of fees from students, disbursement of staff salary and maintains all other financial expenditures, earnings and accounts of the college. The Office functions under the overall supervision and guidance of the Principal of the college.
Various scholarship programmes like the Kanyashree Scheme (under the aegis of the Government of West Bengal) is also looked after by the office. Similarly, disbursement of the West Minority Development Corporation aid is carried out by the office.
Although Victoria Institution (College) enrolls students under morning and day sections respectively, the office does not have a separated set of staff for each section. Students get most of the services during the official working hours of the day section.
