Heritage Club

Vision : Preserving the heritage , promoting the future.

Mission: Motivate students in various activities geared towards heritage awareness and preservation.

Victoria Institution (College) being one of the prime institutes of higher learning for women is a result of the Bengal Renaissance. It is housed in the residential quarters of Brahmananda Keshub Chandra Sen, a visionary social reformer, and a foremost educationist. Heritage club was formed to constructively engage the students of this institution with the rich past of this college so that they can take forward the legacy.


  1. Objectives :
  2. • To encourage students in taking a serious interest towards the history and heritage value of the college.
  3. • Enabling students with the practice and skill of digital archiving.
  4. • To develop a repository of knowledge for future researchers interested in the life and contributions of Brahmananda Keshub Chandra Sen and Bengal Renaissance in general.
